Driving Results for Edina Families
Edina is a wonderful place to raise our family, and I am committed to keeping it that way for the next generation. During my time on City Council, I have worked to strengthen public safety, invest in our infrastructure, expand housing opportunities, advance sustainability initiatives, and support the long term vitality of our community. While there is always more work to do, I am proud of the progress we've made together.
Accomplishments: Results I drove in my first term
Safe and Connected Neighborhoods
Expanded pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, supported a new accessible Highway 62 pedestrian crossing, and invested in critical infrastructure including the Vernon Avenue Bridge.
Public Safety
Supported improvements to emergency response capacity through construction of Fire Station #2 and hiring additional firefighter paramedics, ensuring residents receive the high level of service they expect.
Housing and Affordability
Helped create the Edina Heroes down payment assistance program, supported accessory dwelling units to expand housing options, and encouraged increases to the total housing stock to attract new families and provide downsizing options to residents.

Advanced Edina's Climate Action Plan through practical initiatives, including supporting the Tree Canopy ordinances, and implementation of the single use bag fee.
Community Advocacy
Led efforts on a gun violence prevention ordinance, helped navigate the response to ICE in our community, and prioritized a study on railroad quiet zones to improve quality of life for residents near rail corridors.
Looking Ahead: My focus for the next four years
Responsive and Transparent Government
Residents deserve to know how decisions are made and how their feedback shapes city action. I regularly meet and speak with citizens to discuss matters of importance. I will continue working to improve transparency, strengthen communication around petitions and resident requests, and ensure government remains accessible and accountable.
Smart Investments in Core Services
I will continue supporting thoughtful investments in things like the pedestrian and bicycle master plan, railroad quiet zones, and deferred maintenance initiatives. This is the infrastructure, public safety, parks, and facilities that residents rely on every day.

From changing workforce and housing needs, to opportunities introduced by technology advancements, Edina must be prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead. I will continue advocating for data driven decision making and practical approaches that help our city adapt and thrive.
